Review

DragonSword : Awakening has a familiar fantasy setup, but the appeal is in how busy and colorful it seems willing to be. Orbis is pitched as a wide, warm open world rather than a grim checklist, and that matters for this kind of RPG. If the fields, caves, underwater spaces, and towns actually reward wandering, exploration can feel like the reason to play instead of the space between fights.
Combat is the bigger test. The status ailment and Signal Skill system sounds like it wants you to build teams, not just equip the strongest character and mash through encounters. That is a good direction. Action RPG parties are most interesting when swapping has a purpose, when one hero sets up a condition and another cashes it out with a heavier hit. If Hound13 makes those chains readable, fights could have more rhythm than the usual cooldown rotation.
The companion and Familiar layers also fit the tone. They give the game a softer side between battles, and the cooking and local-problem systems could make the world feel inhabited rather than just pretty. The danger is clutter. Open-world RPGs can drown themselves in menus, bonding screens, and small errands if the pacing is not disciplined.
The other caveat is technical. A 60 GB install, SSD warning, and Unreal Engine 5 presentation mean performance will matter a lot, especially in crowded areas or fast switching combat.
Verdict: A bright, team-focused action RPG with strong open-world promise, with its success depending on combat clarity and whether Orbis feels worth exploring beyond the main path.
