Review

The series’ strengths map cleanly to VR. Reading light, sound, and enemy cones becomes a full‑body rhythm, crouch, lean, peek, and freeze until a route clicks. Bow handling and distraction tools add welcome finesse, and pockets to pick feel precise rather than gimmicky. Level art skews dense but readable, brick, copper, and shadow work together so paths stand out without glowing paint. Audio sells the stealth loop, boots on stone, a guard cough, the telltale scrape of a latch.
Caveats are standard for the format. Comfort options must cover a wide range, and performance will need to stay steady on mid‑range headsets when large interiors and lots of lights are in play. The Steam page lists headsets and tracked controller support, though full settings granularity will determine long‑run pacing. If you want a grounded stealth sim built for hands, this looks aligned with the fantasy.
Verdict
Classic Thief cues, now tactile and tense in VR.
