Deep Dish Dungeon
Deep Dish Dungeon releases on October 13, 2026, for PC, macOS, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Behold Studios and published by Raw Fury, this survival dungeon crawler combines hand-crafted exploration with crafting, cooking, metroidvania progression, puzzles, and online co-op for up to three players. Adventurers descend into interconnected corridors and chambers, gather materials, return to a persistent campsite, craft tools, prepare stat-changing meals, discover hidden passages, learn enemy behaviors, and gradually open previously inaccessible parts of the dungeon. Cross-platform multiplayer allows the expedition to be tackled cooperatively rather than turning resource gathering into a competitive race.

Review

Deep Dish Dungeon treats preparation as progression. Exploration provides ingredients and materials, but those resources only become truly valuable once players return to camp and decide how they should be used.
Cooking is especially important. Meals provide different statistical effects, so discovering recipes is effectively another form of character development. Crafting new tools can open additional opportunities deeper underground, creating a loop where each expedition expands the options available during the next one.
The dungeon itself is hand-crafted rather than procedurally assembled. That allows puzzles, shortcuts, environmental clues, enemy encounters, and hidden rooms to be arranged with more deliberate relationships. Metroidvania elements further encourage revisiting areas once new tools or knowledge make previously inaccessible paths possible.
Combat appears intentionally straightforward compared with the exploration systems. Enemy behaviors need to be learned, but rushing through every room is discouraged because health, supplies, and food all influence how far an expedition can realistically continue.
Co-op supports up to three players and is built around sharing information and resources rather than competing for rewards. That should make puzzle solving particularly interesting when different players notice separate clues.
The main risk is pacing. Returning to camp is useful when preparation creates meaningful decisions, but repeated trips could become tedious if inventory limits force interruptions too frequently.
Verdict: A thoughtfully structured dungeon crawler where cooking, crafting, puzzles, and cooperative exploration are treated as equally important parts of survival.
