Review

Unbound plays fast and loose, the good kind. Cars sit light but not floaty, and the handling model lets you slide, snap, and recover in one motion if you read the corner right. The cop game brings back old tension. Sirens push you off perfect lines, and a late escape turns a decent night into a great one. The style works in motion. Graffiti bursts sell speed without hiding apexes.
Progression balances grind and freedom. Money is tight early, but events and side bets keep you moving, and mid‑game builds breathe once you stop hoarding. Online is hit‑or‑miss by region, yet crews and playlists give structure when a lobby fills. The soundtrack and city lighting pull more weight than you expect.
Caveats: traffic pop‑in can bite, and AI rubber‑banding shows its face in the wrong playlists. PC performance is manageable on mid rigs, though shader compiles may hitch first boot. Even with bumps, the loop holds. Stack wins, dodge blue lights, and make a slow car loud.
Verdict: stylish, energetic street racing with bite.
