Survivor feels better in the hands. The expanded stances give each encounter a small puzzle: pick reach, speed, or crowd control, then commit. Parry windows are readable, and enemy variety bumps just enough to make swaps matter. Platforming strings together cleaner than Fallen Order, and the bigger hubs give room for small, odd quests that show character.
Performance at launch was rocky on PC, but patches smoothed most of the worst spikes. Settings matter, yet midrange rigs can hold steady with reasonable tweaks. The story keeps pace and gives the crew sharper edges. You get quiet beats between fights that sell why these people keep risking it.
Caveats: backtracking can still overstay, and the cosmetic economy clutters menus. Some boss patterns lean on adds more than needed. Even so, it lands where it counts. Fights flow, exploration pays out, and the saber work feels heavy.
Verdict: confident sequel that fights smarter and explores wider.
