SpaceCraft
SpaceCraft launches in Early Access on May 20, 2026 on PC. Developed and published by Shiro Games, it’s an online space exploration and building game where the fantasy is scale: hop between systems, land on planets, mine and craft, design ships, and automate bases and interplanetary logistics so your empire runs even when you’re off doing something reckless. It’s part sandbox, part factory brain, and part social space sim, with co-op and multiplayer baked into the premise.

Review

SpaceCraft is built for a certain kind of player: the one who looks at a planet and immediately starts thinking about supply chains. The pitch combines two satisfying loops that usually live in separate games. One is exploration, finding new systems, scouting terrain, and turning “what’s out there?” into routes you actually use. The other is automation, the slow conversion of chaos into routine as you design bases, streamline production, and move resources where they need to be without constantly babysitting every step.
If Shiro nails the logistics layer, SpaceCraft could feel great in co-op. Multiplayer factory games work best when roles naturally emerge: one person scouts, one builds, one optimizes, and everybody benefits from the shared machine. It also creates strong player stories. Your ship isn’t just a vehicle, it’s the thing you built because you needed a specific solution, more cargo, more speed, a different toolset for a different world.
Early Access is the warning label. This kind of game needs content breadth and strong stability, because players will stress it immediately. Server performance, persistence, and clear progression rules matter more here than in a purely single-player builder. The other big challenge is pacing. Exploration can’t feel like busy travel, and automation can’t feel like spreadsheet work. The best version of SpaceCraft is one where your empire grows because you made smart decisions, not because you ground the same task for hours.
Verdict: A promising space sandbox for explorers and logistics nerds, with Early Access success depending on stability, meaningful progression, and automation that stays fun instead of fussy.
