Solasta II
Solasta II launches on March 12, 2026 for PC. It is developed by Tactical Adventures and published by Tactical Adventures. Set in the mana-infused land of Neokos, it follows a party drawn into a conflict tied to the mysterious Shadwyn. The pitch is clear: classic party-based RPG exploration, turn-based tactical combat, and rules built around the SRD 5.2 ruleset where choices matter and dice decide. You build a party, manage positioning and resources in fights, then deal with the consequences in the story.

Review

Solasta II has an uphill challenge, because anyone searching for a tactical fantasy RPG in 2026 is going to compare it to the biggest names in the genre. The good news is that Solasta’s identity has always been clarity. Combat is readable, turn order matters, and the fun comes from setting up clean turns instead of improvising through chaos. If the sequel keeps that discipline while adding richer encounter design, it can carve out space again.
The rule-driven angle is still the hook. Dice outcomes and structured abilities create a satisfying push-and-pull between planning and risk. That plays especially well in party games where you are juggling range, line of sight, control effects, and positioning. The move to a new setting helps, too. Neokos gives Tactical Adventures a chance to build new factions and new problems without feeling like a remix.
The main caveat is that Early Access RPGs can feel thin early on, and story momentum is hard to judge until more acts land. Balance and UI polish also tend to be moving targets when systems are still being tuned.
Verdict: A confident sequel that should please tactics-first RPG fans, as long as you can handle an Early Access rollout.
