SpiritVale launches in Early Access on July 15, 2026 on PC. Developed and published by Baikun Interactive, it is a class-based action MMORPG built around old-school RPG friction with more modern real-time combat. You explore Nevaris, fight monsters and world bosses, build toward advanced jobs, trade with other players, and shape your character through skills, gear, cards, and class identity rather than one rigid progression track.

Review

SpiritVale is aiming straight at players who miss the social texture of older MMOs. Not the perfect theme park version, but the messier one: parties forming in chat, builds being argued over, bosses becoming little server events, and players finding value in trading as much as fighting. That is a hard feeling to recreate, but the game at least seems to understand what it is chasing.
The class system is the center of it. Seven base classes with advanced jobs gives the game room to grow, and the card and equipment layers can make builds feel personal if the stats create real trade-offs. The important thing is niche protection. If every class can do everything, the MMO part becomes window dressing. If classes push players into different strengths, party play starts to matter.
Combat being real-time is a good fit, provided it stays readable. A small-scale MMO can feel lively when players are dodging, timing skills, and reacting to boss mechanics instead of standing still through rotations. The danger is balance. Early Access MMOs get judged harshly because every patch can break somebody’s favorite class or economy loop.
The other caveat is onboarding. Games inspired by classics can be charmingly opaque, but they still need to teach players enough to get invested. SpiritVale’s long-term appeal will depend on whether its grind feels communal and rewarding, or just repetitive.
Verdict: A promising Early Access MMO for players who like classes, loot, and community-driven progression, with balance and onboarding deciding how far it can go.
