Final Form is TBA for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. From Reikon Games, this is a sci‑fi shooter about a post‑human operative racing to save the last trace of humanity from a cosmic threat. You move through biomechanical corridors, hop between platforms, and use modular weapons that change with parts you slot in. The pitch is speed and expression, not just bigger guns.

Review

What stands out is movement. Reikon’s combat reads quick and precise, and Final Form seems to double down on aerial control and slide‑cancels that snap you into cover. Rooms are built like combat puzzles. You dash to break sight lines, then cut angles with charged shots or short‑range bursts. Enemies answer with tracking fire and melee pushers that force repositioning. When it clicks, the loop feels clean: enter, burst, relocate, repeat.
Buildcraft leans on parts rather than skill trees. Swapping cores and barrels changes cadence and utility. A support frame can feed ammo and overshields, while a heavy kit trades speed for crit windows. The risk is bloat. If parts overlap without sharp identity, tinkering turns into menu churn. The art direction helps solve that. Clear silhouettes and readable color accents make threat scanning fast, even when effects stack.
On PC, frame pacing must be rock solid. Shooters that sell on precision live or die on latency and frame stability. A strong benchmark, upscalers, and per‑effect toggles will matter at launch.
Verdict: fast, modular, and promising, as long as the parts system stays readable.
