Review

Lies of P threads a clean line between familiar soulslike structure and a few smart twists. The weapon system lets you swap blades and handles for different movesets, and Legion Arms add situational tools without bloating inputs. Parry windows are strict but consistent, and perfect guards chew through enemy weapon durability in satisfying bursts. Zones connect neatly, with shortcuts that make second and third runs faster.
Some spikes feel abrupt, especially if you underinvest in guard timing or stamina, and late‑game elites can punish greedy play. PC performance is solid after patches, though frame pacing can wobble on lower CPUs. The art direction carries a lot, and boss variety holds up.
Verdict: disciplined, stylish soulslike with just enough of its own voice.
