Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake is planned for 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Ubisoft is rebuilding the classic turn-based strategy game in 3D and 4K, while keeping the original campaigns and both expansions, Armageddon’s Blade and The Shadow of Death.
Steam Shows An EULA, Not Denuvo
Right now, the Steam page does not show the usual “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper” warning. That means Denuvo is not publicly confirmed for Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake at this stage.
The page does list a third-party EULA, which is worth noting, but that alone does not mean Denuvo is present. A third-party EULA can cover publisher terms, online features, account rules, or other legal requirements. Unless the Steam page adds the specific Denuvo notice later, this should not be treated as a confirmed Denuvo release.
Ubisoft Connect Is The PC Layer To Watch
The clearer PC requirement is on Ubisoft’s side. The Ubisoft Store lists the PC version as being added to a Ubisoft Connect library, and it says players need a Ubisoft account and the Ubisoft Connect PC app to play.
That makes this a DRM and launcher story already, just not a confirmed Denuvo one. For PC players, the real question is whether Ubisoft stops at its own account/app layer or adds Denuvo closer to launch.
Why This Question Matters
Because this is Ubisoft, players will keep checking the fine print. The publisher has used Denuvo on major PC releases before, and 2026 has made every Ubisoft DRM listing more interesting after Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was cracked by voices38.
Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake is a different kind of game, but the same PC audience will still care about launch access, offline play, modding, long-term preservation, and whether the remake respects the community that kept Heroes III alive for decades.
For now, the clean answer is: Denuvo is not listed, but Ubisoft Connect is part of the PC setup. If a Denuvo line appears later, the story changes immediately.
