Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6 released on June 2, 2023 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed and published by Capcom. This entry splits cleanly into three lanes. World Tour is a scrappy RPG that teaches systems while you wander Metro City, Fighting Ground is the classic versus lab with Arcade, Training, and offline sets, and Battle Hub is the online plaza for ranked and casual play. Drive Gauge ties the kit together, from Drive Impact stuns to parries and rush cancels. Modern controls lower execution walls without flattening depth, and rollback netcode plus cross‑play keep match queues healthy.

Review

Street Fighter 6 lands where it should, in the space between reads and nerve. Neutral is punchy. Drive gives you meter to bully with plus frames or steal turns with parry, then punishes greed when you burn out. Characters push clear identities, from bully buttons to stance trickery. The game’s best trait is how it welcomes different tempos. You can play fast and swing, or slow things down and play the map.
Presentation helps you learn without noise. Hit sparks are legible, commentary explains situations without overstaying, and the training tools are generous. Online is the real spine, though. Cross‑play and rollback deliver stable sets, and the Hub makes finding matches painless. World Tour is uneven in pacing but useful as a lab. You try routes, unlock specials, and internalize spacing in low‑stakes fights before jumping back into lobbies.
Caveats: World Tour can drag, and some difficulty spikes feel like stat checks. Balance shifts with new DLC seasons, so a main may need relearning. On PC the game runs well on mid rigs, yet shader caching on a fresh install can hiccup and dense stages can shave frames. None of that blunts the core. Footsies breathe, scrambles are readable, and a clean punish feels like a small miracle.
Verdict: a confident, flexible fighter that rewards lab rats and risk‑takers alike.
