Raidou Remastered still charms because the casework and combat feed each other. You walk a block, chat up a lead, then slide into a scuffle that asks for quick reads and a steady lock‑on. Two‑demon teams open space for builds. A tank holds, a caster spikes, and you trim risk with smart MAG use. Encounters move fast, and the new camera keeps tells honest.
The city sells the fantasy. Alleys hum, offices hide clues, and the Dark Realm flips familiar streets into weird mirrors. Fusions hit the collector brain, especially when a new demon unlocks field tricks that matter. Voice acting lifts scenes that used to lean on text. It reads modern without sanding off the series’ edges.
Caveats: some animations still feel stiff, and early DLC packs skew balance if you grab them right away. Keyboard play is fine, but a controller fits better. Denuvo is listed on Steam, which some players dislike. Even so, the loop lands. Chase a lead, crack a fight, stitch clues until the board makes sense.
