Review

Delverium mixes several familiar sandbox systems without forcing one of them to dominate the experience. Players can spend a session expanding a farm, building a larger settlement, exploring distant biomes, fishing, or preparing equipment for a dungeon run without being pushed toward one correct progression route.
Crafting ties those activities together. Food, tools, weapons, armor, and construction materials all come from resources gathered across the world, while recruited NPCs provide additional trading opportunities. Nested crafting and an expandable inventory are sensible quality-of-life additions for a game where production can quickly involve dozens of materials.
Farming is more than a decorative side activity. Crops need planting and watering, animals can be bred, fish can be caught, and harvested ingredients feed into cooking and trade. Dangerous exploration provides the opposite rhythm through caves, hostile regions, rare ore, treasure, and dungeon encounters.
Multiplayer is especially flexible. Up to eight players can cooperate online, while four-player split-screen makes local sessions unusually well supported for a survival game.
The Early Access release includes the complete core loop but is still expected to develop for as long as two years. More biomes, bosses, loot, NPC options, lore, and gameplay systems are planned.
The biggest risk is breadth. Farming, construction, survival, RPG combat, and dungeon crawling all compete for development attention, and some may remain relatively shallow.
Verdict: A flexible survival sandbox with unusually strong local and online co-op support, backed by a progression loop that connects farming, construction, exploration, and dungeon crawling cleanly.
