Judas releases TBA for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Ghost Story Games and led by Ken Levine, it blends story‑driven shooting with powers, alliances, and betrayals aboard a failing starship. You play a volatile protagonist trapped with enemies who might be your only way out. Choices shape who you trust, when you fight, and how the ship holds together. The hook is clear: relationships are weapons, and the ship is a maze of factions, labs, and odd tech waiting to be pushed to its limits.

Review

Judas pitches familiar ideas in a tighter space. Guns hit hard, and the mix of firearms with plasmid‑style abilities pushes you to improvise. Fights escalate fast in narrow corridors, then cool off as you scavenge parts, eavesdrop on crew logs, and pick your next ally. The trust system is the spine. Helping one faction can unlock gear or shortcuts, but it also locks doors elsewhere and sours future encounters. The ship feels like a character, with rooms looping into each other and hazards you can turn to your advantage.
Presentation leans into broken machinery and neon labs. Audio work carries a lot of the tension, from sickly reactor hums to clipped radio chatter. The pacing looks brisk, though story beats may crowd the quieter exploration if every scene pushes a twist. Performance targets and PC options are still unknown, so we will keep an eye on stability at launch.
Verdict: a sharp narrative shooter where alliances matter as much as aim.
