Invincible VS releases April 30, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Quarter Up and published by Skybound Games, it’s a 3v3 tag fighter built around fast swaps, burst damage, and that brutal, comic-book impact the series is known for. The roster is pulled from the show and comics, the tone is unapologetically violent, and the goal is simple: build a team, learn your routes, and turn one clean opening into a long, ugly sequence.

Review

Invincible VS looks like it understands what makes tag fighters fun: momentum, improvisation, and the constant threat that one mistake turns into a full team meltdown. A 3v3 structure is a great fit for the franchise because it lets the game hit that “outnumbered, outmatched, still fighting” feeling without forcing every character to be balanced the same way.
The appeal will come down to feel. Quarter Up’s challenge is to make hits land with real weight while keeping the pace high. Tag fighters can get messy fast, and messy is fine, but it has to be readable. You should understand why you got opened up, and you should feel like you had a chance to respond.
Roster identity matters too. Invincible has a wide spread of power types, brawlers, speed monsters, weird gadget characters, and the best version of this game is one where those differences create real team-building choices, not just cosmetic flavor. If assists, tag mechanics, and combo routes give each character a clear job, players will stick around.
Two gentle caveats. First, online performance is everything in a competitive fighter; bad netcode kills a scene before it starts. Second, a new fighting game needs strong onboarding. If the first few hours feel like hitting a wall, casual players leave and the community shrinks.
Verdict: A promising 3v3 fighter with a strong license fit, with its long-term success resting on netcode, readability, and whether the roster feels genuinely distinct.
