Dimraeth
Dimraeth enters Early Access on September 15, 2026, for PC. Developed and published by Mudtek, this open-world fantasy action RPG supports solo play and seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to eight players. The story follows a hero drawn into the struggle against Sylbos, Last of the Ogre Magi, as corruption spreads across Mirkea. Eight playable races, six classes, 48 race-and-class Archetypes, more than 300 spells, stamina-based combat, crafting, farming, equipment upgrades, relationships, romance, settlement development, resource gathering, bosses, and persistent character progression give players several ways to build both their hero and home.

Review

Dimraeth mixes deliberate action RPG combat with the kind of long-term progression normally associated with survival and settlement games. Attacks consume commitment rather than allowing constant animation cancelling, so reading enemy telegraphs, controlling stamina, blocking, dodging, and parrying are important even when fighting ordinary creatures.
Character creation is unusually broad. Eight races can be paired with six classes to form 48 Archetypes, each with its own progression options. Five spells can be equipped at once, while racial, class, and crafted spellbook abilities draw from a pool exceeding 300 spells. That gives builds considerable room to specialize.
Exploration feeds directly into the home-building loop. Materials gathered during adventures can be used to craft equipment, brew potions, prepare food, construct farms and quarries, and improve facilities belonging to recruited allies. Better relationships unlock conversations, personal quests, romances, and additional services.
Co-op supports up to eight players without locking character progression to one host. Levels, gear, inventory, and spells follow the character between worlds, while buildings and recruited NPCs remain attached to the host world.
The Early Access version represents only the beginning. New zones, races, classes, bosses, crafting systems, and higher-level progression are planned over an estimated 18-to-24-month development period. Balancing hundreds of spells across eight-player groups will be particularly difficult.
Verdict: An ambitious pixel-art action RPG that connects Souls-lite combat, deep character builds, relationships, and settlement progression into a surprisingly broad co-op package.
