Review
COD MW 3 sticks close to the series formula but sharpens edges where it can. The campaign mixes tight corridor shootouts with large-scale set pieces, leaning heavily on spectacle. It looks and sounds impressive, though the pacing jumps between highs and filler missions that drag momentum down.
Multiplayer is the real backbone. Classic maps return with modern polish, and the gunplay feels as sharp as ever. Time-to-kill is fast, keeping matches tense. Loadout customization runs deep, letting you tune weapons with attachments that actually shift handling and recoil. Spawns and balance still cause frustration, with certain guns dominating early metas.
Zombies mode makes a return, this time as an open-world co-op experience. Fighting waves across sprawling maps adds variety, but it can feel stretched thin compared to the tighter survival loops of past entries.
Performance is steady across most platforms, with PC offering the best visuals if you have the rig to push it. Servers remain busy, but connection issues occasionally crop up during peak hours.
Verdict: loud, fast, and uneven, but MW 3 delivers enough chaos to keep COD fans locked in for another year.
