Review

Brigador Killers brings the series closer to the ground by allowing players to leave armored vehicles and fight directly on foot. Infantry combat uses the same isometric perspective as the original, but smaller scale changes how streets, buildings, sightlines, and enemy patrols are approached.
More than 30 firearms range from improvised local weapons to advanced Spacer technology. Different combat rigs modify how those weapons are carried and used, giving players room to build around mobility, durability, or heavier firepower. Entering a stolen vehicle can then shift a tense infantry encounter into a much louder assault.
Vehicle construction is central to progression. Damaged machines can be salvaged for parts, taken back to the base, rebuilt, and equipped with mounted weapons. The available vehicles include ordinary cars, tanks, and bipedal mechs, creating a broad difference in speed and destructive potential.
Environmental destruction remains an important part of the experience. Buildings, civilian spaces, vehicles, and enemy positions can be damaged or flattened, making firepower feel dangerous rather than cosmetic. The detailed sprite art also preserves Brigador’s distinctive industrial science-fiction presentation.
The move between infantry and vehicles should improve variety, though balancing both styles will be difficult. On-foot combat cannot feel like a weaker transition between machines, while heavy vehicles still need enough resistance to avoid turning every mission into effortless destruction.
Verdict: A destructive isometric shooter that expands Brigador’s strong vehicular combat with infantry action, scavenging, and a more personal insurgency campaign.
