Clawed releases on August 13, 2026, for PC. Developed and published by Flatrock Games, this action-adventure survival horror game sends players into Prehistoria, a ruined dinosaur theme park hiding dangerous experiments and abandoned facilities. A covert investigation quickly becomes a struggle for survival as players explore enclosures, safari routes, underground tunnels, and distinct biomes while conserving resources, solving environmental puzzles, and fighting predators including Utahraptors and Spinosaurus. The campaign can be played alone or through online co-op.

Review

Clawed uses the familiar appeal of an abandoned theme park but replaces malfunctioning attractions with predators that can move quickly between open spaces and confined corridors. Exploration is divided between dinosaur enclosures, maintenance tunnels, safari areas, and other sections of Prehistoria, giving the campaign room to alternate between wider hunting grounds and tighter survival-horror environments.
Firearms provide a direct response to danger, although the game appears designed around resource pressure rather than constant shooting. Ammunition, healing supplies, and other useful items must be scavenged, encouraging players to decide whether an encounter is worth confronting or better avoided. Dinosaurs also vary in behavior and size, which should prevent the same tactic from working in every part of the park.
Puzzles provide the quieter half of the pacing. Restoring access, investigating facilities, and opening blocked routes give players reasons to examine the environment rather than simply move toward the next combat arena. Online co-op changes the balance by allowing teammates to divide exploration and defensive responsibilities, though coordinated players may reduce some of the isolation central to survival horror.
The park concept gives Clawed a strong visual identity, particularly when decaying tourist spaces are contrasted with active wildlife and human remains. Its main concern is technical balance. The recommended processor specification is unusually high, and enemy behavior will need to remain convincing in both solo and cooperative sessions.
Verdict: A promising dinosaur survival horror game with a strong setting, measured resource management, and co-op that offers a different way to survive Prehistoria.
