Dinoblade releases July 23, 2026 on PC. Developed and published by Team Spino LLC, it is an action RPG about a young Spinosaurus carrying a colossal great sword through a prehistoric world reshaped by catastrophe. The hook is clean and strange: dinosaur-on-dinosaur swordplay, alpha predators guarding each biome, dodge and parry timing, hidden weapons, and a mystery that could either save the species or push the extinction event closer.

Review

Dinoblade has one of those concepts that either works instantly or not at all, and the good news is that it commits. A sword-wielding Spinosaurus sounds like a joke until the combat loop starts to make sense. This is not another knight in a ruined kingdom. It is a prehistoric action RPG where every duel looks oversized, heavy, and a little absurd in the right way.
The combat pitch is the heart of it. Dodges, rolls, parries, combos, and boss-style Alpha encounters suggest a game more interested in timing than pure button spam. That matters because the novelty would fade quickly if every fight were just a big creature swinging through health bars. Dinoblade needs weight, spacing, and enemy behavior that makes rival dinosaurs feel dangerous rather than decorative.
The world also has potential. Canyons, misty jungles, and hidden legendary weapons give the game a clear adventure loop, while the boss rush angle adds a challenge-focused reason to return after the campaign. A few caveats are obvious. Linear progression can feel narrow if biomes are not distinct, and action RPGs live or die on hit feedback. If parries or hurtboxes feel loose, trust disappears fast.
Verdict: A strange, confident action RPG with a killer premise, strongest when it turns dinosaur swordplay into real timing, pressure, and boss-fight spectacle.
