Burglin' Gnomes
Burglin’ Gnomes releases June 10, 2026 on PC. Developed and published by Fobri, it’s a co-op chaos game about being tiny, reckless, and surprisingly effective at ruining someone’s nice house. You break in as a gnome crew, search for valuables, sabotage the place, and try to escape before the homeowners or security systems turn your cute little crime spree into a panicked scramble.

Review

Burglin’ Gnomes lives on one simple truth: stealth is fun, but stealth failing is often funnier. The premise isn’t “master thief.” It’s “tiny goblin energy,” and that gives the game permission to be messy. A perfect break-in is satisfying, sure, but the real stories will come from the run where someone trips an alarm, another gnome tries to fix it, and suddenly the whole team is improvising a getaway with half the loot and none of the dignity.
Co-op is the entire point, and the best version of this game is one where roles naturally form without the game forcing them. One player scouts, one grabs valuables, another distracts, someone inevitably gets overconfident. Good co-op games make communication matter while still letting chaos happen, and a “small crew in a big house” setup is a strong foundation for that.
The big question is variety. A heist loop needs enough house layouts, objectives, and complications that it doesn’t become the same route with a different skin. It also needs clean feedback. Players should understand what made noise, what triggered detection, and what the escape options really are. If those rules are clear, failures feel like your fault in a funny way. If they’re unclear, failures feel cheap.
If Fobri can keep the missions playful, add enough modifiers to keep runs unpredictable, and make moment-to-moment controls snappy, Burglin’ Gnomes has a chance to become a reliable “one more run” co-op game.
Verdict: A strong co-op chaos concept that should shine when plans fall apart, with long-term appeal depending on mission variety and clear, fair stealth rules.
