Life is Strange: Reunion is set for March 26, 2026 on PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Square Enix is publishing again, Deck Nine is back on development duties, and the pitch is exactly what you’d expect from this series: an emotional story that leans hard into relationships, consequences, and the kind of choices you second‑guess an hour later.
On PC, one technical note is already clear. The Steam page lists “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper”, alongside the standard third‑party EULA notice. So this isn’t coming from a reseller listing or a “someone said” thread. As of now, Denuvo is part of the PC build the store is advertising.
That’s where the familiar split happens. Plenty of players won’t care if the game runs well and launches clean. Others get annoyed the moment they see Denuvo because they’ve been burned before: activation limits, weird offline behaviour, or the broader preservation worry if the DRM stays attached years down the line. It doesn’t automatically mean the port will be worse, but it does add one more thing people are going to watch closely at launch.
If you’re planning to buy day one, it’s worth checking prices before you hit Steam checkout. You can often find PC keys with 15% off on Instant Gaming.
