Reunion brings back dual leads with complementary verbs. Max’s rewind is more flexible, letting you carry outcomes across short loops, and Chloe’s backtalk returns to pry open scenes through dialogue pressure. Structure matters in this series, and the setup is clean: a ticking clock, a campus microcosm, and choices that reframe scenes on replay. Presentation leans on grounded framing over spectacle, which suits a tighter mystery.

There are risks. If difficulty sits mostly in menu-driven checks, tension can sag between set pieces. And performance on mid-tier PCs will need attention if cinematic post-processing remains heavy. If Deck Nine nails consequence mapping and keeps scenes reactive, this could be a strong, focused sendoff for Max and Chloe.
