Review

This is a city builder with a people‑first lens. Systems track not just resources, but tolerance, expectations, and the effects of policy on neighborhoods. The loop of survey, settle, and route goods makes small wins feel earned, and the art direction keeps busy towns readable from a top‑down view. Long‑term pressure comes from stability rather than constant disasters, so planning for fairness can be as important as optimizing kilns and mills.
Scope is ambitious for Early Access, and some headline features will arrive over time. Balance will need iteration so growth never outruns services, and late‑game pacing must keep offering reasons to rebuild. Even so, the foundation is promising and the demo already shows the intended cadence.
Verdict
Thoughtful, systems‑led kingdom building with a social spine.
