Review

Combat is the point. Melee has weight, ranged fire pins, and the swap between the two feels immediate. Encounters stack pressure rather than bullet sponge. Elites break formations, gaunts flood sightlines, and the best moments are simple: a stagger into an execution that buys your squad a breath. Co‑op sells the fantasy when roles click. One player holds the choke, another snaps weak points, a third roams for pickups.
Maps push forward momentum with short detours for ammo and armor. The art team nails scale without hiding tells, so you can read telegraphs even when the screen gets loud. Performance is solid on modern PCs, though huge crowds can push VRAM.
Caveats: matchmaking can split groups between objectives, and the cosmetics economy is busy if you ignore it. Balance tweaks have smoothed spikes, but some difficulty tiers still swing. Still, the loop is clear and satisfying.
Verdict: loud, mean power fantasy that respects positioning.
