GRID Legends launched on February 24, 2022 for PC (Steam), PlayStation, and Xbox. Codemasters and EA go loud again, threading story events into a fat career while keeping pick‑up‑and‑race speed. Cars range from touring to trucks, with city circuits and classic tracks that encourage elbows out. Cross‑platform racing gives the lobbies some life.

Review

Legends is happy to be noisy. Races start tight, AI nudges back, and the Nemesis tag turns small taps into grudges that last a season. Handling leans arcade but not floaty. You can feel weight shift when a curb grabs a tire, and drifting a touring car never gets old. The Driven to Glory story pops in between events without dragging the career into cutscene jail.

The Race Creator is an easy win. Mix classes, throw in Boost or Elimination, and you get a quick Friday playlist without arguing over rules. Visuals sit clear on PC, with busy street tracks still readable at speed. Multiplayer does its job, cross‑play keeps queues moving, and weekly challenges add just enough rope for a quick return.

Caveats: wheel support needs per‑car tweaks, and AI can swing from passive to bumper car if you stack modifiers. Denuvo and EA app overhead may annoy on slower machines. Even so, the package holds together. Pick a class, pick a rival, and keep pushing until the garage feels like home.
