Paralives releases on December 8, 2025 (postponed) for PC (Steam) on Windows and macOS. Developed and published by Paralives Studio. It is a dollhouse life sim that leans into creative tools: gridless building, curved walls, resizable furniture, a full color wheel, and custom stairs that let houses look the way you imagine them. You shape Parafolk in a deep creator, then drop them into an open world town with jobs, relationships, hobbies, bikes, and cars. Early Access means the base is here, with features and content growing over time.

Review
Paralives gets the core loop right. Build a space, tweak it until it feels like home, then let a couple of Parafolk figure out how to live in it. The house tools are the headline. Curved walls snap cleanly, object scaling saves you from fighting fixed sizes, and the color options keep rooms from looking like clones. The creator is flexible without burying you in submenus, and the town is busy enough that a quiet evening can slip by while you chase a new look for the kitchen.
Life play starts simple. Get a job, meet a neighbor, botch a recipe, try again. Autonomy is a notch smarter than you expect, with Parafolk following through on chores instead of waiting for orders. It still shows Early Access seams. Some interactions repeat, shops feel thin in places, and the simulation can hiccup when lots are crowded. Updates will shift balance, which is part of the appeal and part of the risk.
Performance targets modest rigs and scales up well, though settings will move as systems expand. The promise of free updates gives room for pets, deeper careers, and town tools to grow.
Verdict: creative building leads, life sim depth is coming together, worth tracking in Early Access.
