Review

YAPYAP is built for co‑op chaos. Each raid is a compact sandbox where objectives are simple, but the tools are flexible. Voice‑triggered spells, push‑pull telekinesis, disguises, and goofy physics create overlapping solutions that reward quick planning and louder laughter. Stealth is readable, with clear sight cones and noise risks, and failure loops are fast. You hop back in, swap roles, and try a cleaner route.
The best moments come from improvised combos. One player distracts a creature with a crash, another floats a key across a gap, a third chains a teleport for a last‑second escape. Progression feels light, focused on unlocking new spells and modifiers rather than grind. Presentation keeps things legible with stylized visuals that pop even when rooms get crowded.
Caveats: voice inputs can be finicky in noisy rooms, and solo play is clearly secondary to co‑op. Long sessions may want broader objective variety. None of that breaks the loop.
Verdict
Joyfully messy co‑op stealth where improvised spell combos and clean readability keep the chaos fun.
