The pitch is tension by omission. You creep, listen, and use limited‑function gadgets to parse danger, then plan tiny routes between cover and switches. Lighting is a mechanic, and the retro‑futurist art reads clean, CRT glow against brutalist rooms. Sound design is surgical, hums, clicks, and distant scrapes mark enemy states without HUD spam. Progression is more knowledge than numbers, and that makes small wins satisfying.
The usual caveats apply. Pace can stall if objectives are too opaque, and horror downtimes need tight autosave rules.
