Review

PGA TOUR 2K25 finds its rhythm in micro decisions. EvoSwing adds feel without turning shots into guesswork. You commit to a line, shape the ball, and live with the result. The three Majors give season structure, and the MyCAREER sim options keep dead holes moving. Course Designer remains a time sink, now with better camera work and more surface control, so the community fills gaps between official drops.
Presentation reads clear on PC. Lighting is steadier, greens show slopes cleanly, and crowds stay out of the way. Online holds up with cross‑platform societies and quick playlists, though lobbies still need shepherding on off‑hours. Progression is gentler than last year, with fittings and tokens smoothing early frustration.
Caveats: physics can feel hot around severe slopes, and putting reads occasionally fight the camera. The store and pass flow add noise if you only want sim golf. Performance is fine on mid rigs, but shader caching can hiccup on first boot. Even with those quirks, the package holds.
Verdict: smart tweaks and stronger structure make this the easy pick for digital golf.
