EA SPORTS FC 27 launches on September 25, 2026 for PC and consoles, bringing another annual football release from Electronic Arts into the usual PC DRM conversation. This time, the answer is already clear before launch: the Steam page lists Denuvo.
Steam Lists Denuvo Next To EA App DRM
EA SPORTS FC 27 does have Denuvo on PC. The Steam listing includes “Denuvo Anti-tamper” under its third-party DRM section, alongside EA online activation and EA App software installation and background use.
That means FC 27 is not just relying on Steam. PC players also have EA’s own account/app layer attached to the release, which is exactly the kind of setup people watch closely every year with EA Sports games. Internet connection, account requirements, launcher dependency and anti-tamper protection are all part of the same discussion here.
For players who only care about jumping into Ultimate Team, Clubs, Career Mode or online matches, this may not change much. EA’s football series has been account-heavy for years. But for PC users who care about offline access, long-term preservation and launcher friction, the Denuvo listing confirms that FC 27 is another protected EA launch.
