Review

INDUSTRIA 2 doesn’t look interested in being a “big” shooter. It wants to be a tight, moody one. The appeal is the atmosphere: empty industrial spaces, strange machinery, and the feeling that you’re trespassing somewhere that doesn’t want you there. If you liked the first game’s mix of quiet exploration and sudden danger, the sequel is clearly trying to push that further.
The gunplay should work best when it supports the tone. That means fights that feel tense and purposeful, not constant firefights that turn the world into noise. A narrative FPS lives on pacing. It needs long stretches where you’re reading spaces and piecing things together, then short spikes where everything goes loud and you have to react. When that balance is right, even simple combat feels sharper.
The other key is story payoff. INDUSTRIA ended with a lot of dangling threads, and sequels like this have to do more than add new rooms and new enemies. They need to reframe what came before and give the lead a clear, human drive that carries through the set pieces. If the writing lands, the setting does a lot of work for free.
Two caveats. First, these games can stumble if their combat systems are too thin, because then every encounter feels the same. Second, performance matters more than usual in atmospheric shooters. Hitches and stutters kill dread fast.
Verdict: A focused, atmosphere-first FPS sequel that should hit if it nails pacing and story momentum, and avoids turning its best spaces into repetitive shooting galleries.
