The GTA 6 leak situation may be heading toward a much more serious stage. After publishing several previously unseen gameplay clips, CyberLeek has now publicly claimed to possess a playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI — and has even asked followers whether it should be sold.

“We Do Have The Playable Build Of GTA 6. Should We Sell It?” CyberLeek posted on its Telegram channel.
There is currently no confirmed public GTA 6 build available for download, but the statement immediately raises a bigger question: could CyberLeek eventually distribute the playable build itself?
Recent footage has strengthened the possibility that the group, or someone supplying it, has direct access to the game rather than simply possessing pre-recorded Rockstar videos. One clip appears to show Jason being actively controlled before the player shoots the word “LEEK” into a wall.
That makes this leak considerably different from simply publishing screenshots, development documents or recorded gameplay.
Could the GTA 6 Build Be Released?
CyberLeek has not announced that the GTA 6 build will be released publicly for free. Its current statement only asks whether the build should be sold, and no legitimate download has surfaced.
It is also still unknown how complete the build actually is.
Reports describing the recent footage consistently point to access to a playable version of GTA 6, but there is currently not enough evidence to establish that CyberLeek possesses Rockstar’s complete release version of the game.
The possibility of distribution nevertheless creates a significantly larger problem for Rockstar and Take-Two. A leaked playable build could potentially expose missions, dialogue, mechanics and story content months before players are supposed to experience them.
Take-Two has already been pursuing information connected to the leaks, while Microsoft has publicly said it is working with Take-Two and Rockstar to help protect their intellectual property.
No GTA 6 Download Has Been Released Yet
Players should also be particularly careful with supposed “CyberLeek GTA 6 downloads” appearing online.
No verified playable build has been publicly released by CyberLeek at the time of writing. Fake GTA 6 installers and supposed leaked builds are already being distributed online, with security reports warning that some may contain malware or attempt to steal user information.
For now, the situation is straightforward:
CyberLeek claims to have a playable GTA 6 build, but the build itself has not been publicly released.
Whether the group ultimately attempts to sell, leak or distribute it remains unknown.
This article will be updated if CyberLeek publishes additional information or if a playable GTA 6 build is confirmed to have been distributed.
