Review

Destiny 2 lives on its feel and its endgame. Gunplay is crisp, from hand cannon pop to pulse rifle meter, and abilities fold into gun cycles instead of replacing them. Raids and dungeons remain the crown, tight mechanics, wipe pressure, and loot with real quirks. Seasonal activities keep the calendar moving, and buildcraft has matured, fragments and armor mods letting you tune for ad‑clear, boss burn, or PvP duels. Presentation is still strong, skyboxes and audio cues make fights easy to parse even when effects fill the screen.
Caveats are part of the model. Content rotation can frustrate, and new players face a lumpy onboarding. Balance swings are inevitable as exotics and subclass verbs evolve. Still, if you settle into a fireteam loop, there is nothing else quite like it on PC.
Verdict
A top‑tier shooter with evergreen raids and buildcraft that keeps giving.
