Funnel Runners releases July 16, 2026 on PC. Developed and published by Supernova Studios LLC, it is a first-person co-op survival game about looting a doomed city, fixing a van, and escaping before an EF5 tornado tears the place apart. The pitch is simple and mean in the right way: you and up to seven friends scavenge for parts and data while storms, fires, destruction, and panic keep rewriting the plan.

Funnel Runners has a great co-op setup because it gives the group a clear job and a clear clock. You are not just surviving because a timer says so. You are trying to repair a van while the environment gets worse, and that makes every small detour feel risky. Do you spend another minute searching one more building, or do you get back to the vehicle before the weather turns the street into a blender?
The tornado is the star, but it only works if the systems around it support pressure instead of random punishment. Dynamic destruction, storms, and fire can make a run feel alive when they push players into hard choices. They can also become noise if the feedback is unclear. The game needs players to understand why a plan failed, even when the failure is funny.
Co-op for up to eight players gives it room for loud, messy teamwork. Someone handles parts, someone watches the sky, someone gets greedy, and someone else has to drag the group back to the actual objective. That kind of social chaos can carry a game for a long time if the missions have enough variety.
The main caveat is pacing. If the early part of every run becomes the same scavenger checklist, players will optimize the fun out of it. The map events, resource placement, and hazards need enough shake-up to keep groups arguing and adapting.
Verdict: A strong co-op survival hook with disaster-movie energy, dependent on clear destruction rules and enough run variety to keep the panic fresh.
