MOTORSLICE releases May 5, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed by Regular Studio and published by Top Hat Studios, Inc., it’s a stylish action-platformer built on parkour momentum and clean combat, where your movement is the point, not just the way you get to the next fight. The game leans into anime-and-retro attitude, asking you to chain wall-runs, slides, and aerial control into aggressive, fast encounters that reward flow over caution.

Review

MOTORSLICE looks like a game that wants you to play with your hands, not your patience. The core fantasy is speed with intent. Parkour isn’t there to pad out levels. It’s there to make every room feel like a route choice, a chance to stay airborne, keep your momentum, and arrive at a fight already in control.
That kind of design lives on feel. If the movement is crisp, players will forgive a lot. If it’s even slightly mushy, the whole thing collapses. The good news is that the pitch suggests a focus on clean chaining: wall movement, quick transitions, and combat that doesn’t interrupt flow so much as feed it. The best action-platformers treat combat like another form of traversal. Hit something, bounce off, reposition, keep going.
The other question is level variety. Parkour games can start to feel samey if they repeat the same corridor language with slightly different hazards. MOTORSLICE will need levels that push you into new movement problems, not just faster versions of old ones. Combat also needs a reason to exist beyond style. If enemies have distinct behaviors that force different routes and timings, the loop stays fresh.
Verdict: A flow-first action-platformer with a strong style and the right priorities, with its ceiling defined by how sharp its movement feels and how varied its levels stay.
