MotoGP 26
MotoGP 26 releases April 29, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Developed and published by Milestone S.r.l., it covers the official 2026 season and leans into a more rider-driven handling model, where body movement and balance are treated as part of your control, not just animation. The result is a game that asks you to manage pace and precision at the same time, whether you’re chasing clean laps in single-player or trying to keep your nerve when the pack starts swarming.

Review

MotoGP 26 is at its best when it stops trying to impress you with feature lists and just lets the riding do the talking. The new handling focus makes sense for a series that can sometimes feel like it’s pushing you down a single “correct” line. Here, the bike feels less like a fixed tool and more like a moving argument between traction, weight transfer, and your own confidence. When you get it right, the lap feels earned. When you get it wrong, it is usually obvious why.
Career mode improvements matter because MotoGP lives on routine. You need reasons to keep coming back, not just races to tick off. A stronger sense of progression, choices that affect how your season unfolds, and bike development that feels meaningful can turn a campaign into something you actually care about instead of a menu you clear.
Online is where the game’s identity will be tested. MotoGP is chaotic in a very specific way, close packs, risky passes, tiny margins, and that constant fear of one mistake ruining a race. If matchmaking stays stable and cross-play is handled cleanly for the supported platforms, the game will have a long tail. If it stutters, players will bounce.
Two small caveats. Tutorials and assists need to be good enough to bring new players in without flattening the sim side, and the handling changes need consistency across bikes so learning feels transferable.
Verdict: A confident step forward for the series if you care about riding feel first, with career depth and online stability deciding how long it sticks.
