- Four character DLC packs: Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, Storm, each with story missions and an Abbey upgrade.
- 23 Premium Skins at launch to customize the team.
Review

Firaxis marries tactics and personality. Cards are not random gimmicks, they are a clean way to package hero abilities and action economy. Redraws and free plays keep turns lively, while environment attacks add a satisfying layer of crowd control that never clutters the UI. Squads are small, which gives each hero room to breathe, and deck edits between missions let you tilt a team toward control, burst, or setup. The Abbey loop is stronger than it looks. Hangouts and gifts sound throwaway, yet the passive bonuses are meaningful and the writing, while uneven, lands more often than not.
Combat flow is brisk once decks mature, and the difficulty curve gives you space to experiment. Boss fights push positioning and timing without turning into sponges. Presentation is clean: readable VFX, punchy hit reactions, and a score that sells comic‑book drama. Two caveats. Early hours front‑load tutorials and the social layer can feel busy until systems click. Performance is fine on mid‑range PCs, though shader stutter crops up on some setups.
Verdict: sharp tactical RPG with flexible decks and a cozy superhero hangout.
