Whiskerwood clicks because the simulation is busy but readable. You start small, feeding a few workshops, then discover how quickly bottlenecks appear when mice waste steps. Elevators fix one lane, pipes solve water, and a poorly placed cafe breaks your flow in two minutes flat. The map pushes you to think vertical. Ramps, lifts, tiny tunnels through stone, all in service of shaving seconds. It is satisfying to watch a clumsy block turn elegant after a couple of edits.
The tone has bite. Cats act like managers, not villains, which is somehow worse. Contracts set tempo, and failing one brings real pressure without killing a run. Research matters because new buildings change routes rather than just pushing numbers up.
