Truckful releases on October 9, 2026, for PC and Android, with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions confirmed for a later date. Developed by MythicOwl and published by MythicOwl and Pocketpair Publishing, this single-player driving adventure begins with a simple job: use an aging pickup truck to deliver unusual cargo and complete errands for people living across a peaceful-looking countryside. Physics-based loading, vehicle upgrades, weight distribution, off-road driving, hidden paths, swamps, quicksand, resource management, village quests, and a growing mystery surrounding an ancient forest gradually turn routine delivery work into something much less comfortable.

Review

Truckful makes cargo itself part of the driving challenge. Deliveries are not represented by a progress bar hidden inside the truck. Items sit physically in the bed, meaning an aggressive corner, rough trail, or poorly packed load can create a problem before the destination is reached.
That gives otherwise relaxed countryside driving a useful layer of tension. Fragile objects require careful steering, heavy cargo changes how the pickup behaves, and time-sensitive goods encourage faster routes even when the safest road would be easier. Truck upgrades gradually improve carrying capacity, weight handling, and performance across difficult terrain.
The surrounding countryside also encourages exploration. Roads branch into marshes, dusty lowlands, villages, and hidden paths, with environmental obstacles forcing players to think about how the truck approaches each area. Completing tasks for residents provides upgrades and scrap while also revealing more about the nearby forest.
That mystery is what separates Truckful from a straightforward delivery simulator. The bright hand-drawn presentation becomes increasingly unsettling as local legends, strange locations, and the feeling of being watched begin to interrupt otherwise ordinary work.
The main concern is mission variety. Physics can make deliveries unpredictable, but repeatedly moving objects between locations will need enough environmental and narrative changes to remain interesting.
Verdict: A charming delivery game with a strong physical driving hook, made more distinctive by the way its comfortable rural routine gradually gives way to an unsettling forest mystery.
